The House

Millfield Lodge dates back to the 1800’s and has been lovingly cared for. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are doubles and the third is single although it has a trundle bed so can sleep 2. The master bedroom has built in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. There is a main bathroom for the remaining 2 bedrooms. The house oozes character and charm yet is bright and airy. The living room has 2 comfy sofas and TV, the dining area seats 6 and the snug has a very comfy corner sofa and a large TV. The kitchen is well equipped and leads to the utility room with washer drier and access to the downstairs toilet. The garden is south facing and has an outdoor seating area. The house has unlimited fast broadband and internet TV.

The location

The house is in a fabulous location, being just a short walk to the pretty canal and pubs by the waters edge. It is a true escape and no car is necessary unless you want to explore further afield. London Euston and The Harry Potter studios are easily accessible via train, which is just a 10 minute walk away. Berkhamsted town has numerous bars and restaurants as well as boutique shops and independent cafes; not forgetting the brilliant Rex cinema, which is well worth a visit.
